Ethylene Propylene Diene rubber commonly known as EPDM has a wide variety of applications. Using the same non-EPDM based products for repairs is counterproductive and costly. Many of these products are not epdm, and are not ozone or UV resistant. Epdm is manufactured in such a way to provide maximum flexibility for expansion and contraction of roofs as surface temperatures of your roof changes.
